Who doesn't love an Old Fashioned? And who doesn't want to step up their home bartending game? Our Bourbon Cocktail Cherries are here to help! This recipe is a new twist on an old favorite.
RedCamper Old Fashioned:
- 2oz Bourbon (we used Laws)
-1/2 tsp Absinthe Orange Deliciousness
-1/2 tsp Bourbon Cocktail Cherry Syrup
- 5 drops Dram Black Bitters (we have also made this using Dram's Palo Santo Bitters and their Citrus Bitters both with great results)
- 1-2 Bourbon Cocktail Cherries
- 1 Orange slice (dried is a nice touch)
Pour the bourbon into a rocks glass, add the Absinthe Orange Deliciousness, the syrup from the Bourbon Cocktail Cherries and 3 to 5 dashes of bitters, stir gently. Add ice to glass, garlish with Bourbon Cocktail Cherries and orange slice.
