Bourbon Cherry Goat Cheese Crisps
Ingredients:
• 1 jar RedCamper Bourbon Cocktail Cherries
• 1 TBS Balsamic Vinegar
• Goat Chèvre or any soft spreadable cheese or cheese alternative
• Chopped Fresh or dried Rosemary
• Crisps of your choice - pictured here are the Lesley Stowe Raincoast Crisps
Makes 15-20 appetizers.
Take the jar of cherries and add to a small saucepan. Add the balsamic vinegar. Over low and steady heat occasionally stir the cherries and sauce while you reduce the liquid to an appropriate thicker syrup. About 10 min.
Build the crisps by spreading a small bit of cheese in the center, creating a indentation in the top, place a cherry into that indentation and spoon some of the balsamic syrup over the cherry. Sprinkle a little bit of the rosemary over the top for color and texture.
Eat.
