A bit dated, but we had a crunch before Christmas for some totes. These are for the J. Paul Getty Museum in LA. Had to burn some midnight oil to get them out in time. Those up there are waiting for grommets and handles. That down there is one getting stitched up.

Gettying the totes ready

This is Craig Miller Sr and his granddaughter Brook. Craig Miller Sr has been a part of RedCamper’s success from day one, 8 years ago when we set out on the path of tote making. He and his team at American National Manufacturing worked with RedCamper to create something that had never been done before, a purse made of 35mm slides. Not just slide sheets sewn together, but a custom made, radio frequency welded, durable, panel set made of two types of transparents created from custom tools and dies and an ingenious air pump system made to create cozy little air filled pockets to protect our precious cargo. It was a feat of engineering brilliance. Or maybe just plain awesome for us.  Our totes have never been a big business for him, but he has always been nothing less than amazing to us. He and his son are at the center of keeping American manufacturing alive with pride, and we are so thankful there are still people like them in this world. Thank you, Craig Miller Sr., for all the years.

Mark time lapsed us making a group of mixed holiday card sets. Get em at Etsy.

We are getting Christmas cards ready and thought we would share some behind the scenes footage of Noel getting diecut.

Noel gets a trim.

We’ve been burning the midnight oil getting ready to officially launch the card line on a national level at the New York International Paper & Stationary show.  Every card was reforged from liquid magma and then polished with the skin of a Bernese Alley Goat. Not really. Truthfully though we have been fine tuning the set and added 9 more designs to the bunch. Fathers day, baby on the way and a few good ole all purpose pieces to make your mama blush. Here is our stack of proofs. Proof that you can stay up till 3am and work the next day. If you happen to be in NYC next weekend..roll over to the Javits Center, say hey, and get a photo with our roving travel correspondent.

9 new card designs

Check it out, we just got the labels in for the new line wallets we’ve been working on. Should be available soon!
