Summertime, summertime, summertime! We couldn't be more excited for summertime. We love everything about it including grilling. This little number is for the veg heads in the crowd. Not everything has to be meaty to be grilled. This is a yummy way to make broccoli AND hang out with the grillers.
1-2 LBs Broccoli Florettes
3 TB Olive Oil
3 TB Canola Oil
3 TB Apple Cider Vinegar
2 TB Absinthe Orange Deliciousness
1 Scallion shopped
1/2 small shallot, minced
Salt & Pepper
Sea salt flake
You might recognize this recipe from the IPA Lemon Poppy Vinaigrette recipe..it's nearly identical. Just using Orange instead of Lemon. You can honestly use this vinaigrette recipe for any of our flavors. All good. We promise.
So..mix all those vinaigrette ingredients together and then pour over a pound of broccoli florettes. Let soak briefly. 10 min or so. Then pour the whole bowl onto a hot grill and stand by to man for fires. No fires. Blow those out. Turn the broccoli after a few minutes so that it crisps up and chars on both sides. Take off the grill, put in a clean bowl and sprinkle with sea salt flake. Delish.
