We don't have much, but when we can, we try to give back and help out others in need. We've had the opportunity three times this year already to share some RedCamper love. In all three cases you have time to help too, should you feel inclined.
1)March of Dimes - March for Babies..not in March..but April (what the?!) 28th in Denver. We are sponsoring our friends Andrew & Debbie. Here is their page if you would like to sponsor them too. We like babies that can march healthily.
2)United Way - Power of the Purse silent auction. May 3rd in Duluth, Minnesota (we've never been there, but that doesn't mean we don't like them) This fundraiser that we contributed a tote to for their silent auction is to support the Imagination Libary. Which sounds pretty awesome. It's a monthly book program that sends a new book to children, age 5 and under, EVERY month until they are 5. Pretty awesome. Info on the event here.
Last but not least..
3)Olivias night - May 11th. Some babies don't ever get to march at all..my friends baby never did. Turned out she had a very rare disease called Metachromatic Leukodystrophy..or MLD. If you are in the Phoenix area Friday May 11th they are throwing a fundraiser and silent auction (another RedCamper tote to be had there) for this worthy foundation. More here.
